my jogging diary 4…. changing the past
This is why looking back is just as important as looking forward. Looking at the past gives us the opportunity to learn the lessons that crossed our paths while looking forward creates hope and the two together strengthen faith.
my jogging diary 3….. we need more understanding.
We might not be able to change the world but we can change someone’s world by accepting them for who they are. Then take the action required to understand their journey and support them in being their authentic selves unconditionally.
my jogging diary 2….. I am the author of my own story.
I no longer feel like a prisoner or victim of where I find myself in life. I understand now, that I am the author of my own story. I might not be able to choose how each chapter starts, but I have control over how it ends.
my jogging diary 1…... sitting in the dark
Only when I found myself in complete darkness and I was frozen in fear to a point that I could not fight or run anymore did the darkness start to make way for the light.
This is me….
Being transgender is not a choice. I was born this way. It’s not a lifestyle choice. Choosing to affirm who I am and to allow my body to transform into the form that matches my spirit has everything to do with my survival as a human being. I am not on this journey to get rid of parts of myself that I hate. On the contrary, I am on this affirmation journey to save all of me that I love. I choose to survive and star in my own life.
RECORDING AND MIXING MUMFORD & SONS: DUST AND THUNDER – LIVE FROM SOUTH AFRICA
With this project, I wanted to create a musical artwork; to not just be heard, but felt and seen. My philosophy is that the mix should never detract from the message of the music. It should create an environment in which the music’s message can come to life.
